Brant L. Lillywhite is from Bloomfield, New Mexico. Mr. Lillywhite received his bachelor's degree from Brigham Young University in 2002 and his juris doctorate from the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University in 2006. During law school, he worked as an extern for two United States District Court Judges and as a law clerk for the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Utah and the Utah Attorney General's Office. He was also the Managing Editor of Articles for the Journal of Public Law and a research assistant for the Principles of Evidence casebook. He also participated in the law school's trial advocacy program.

After law school, Mr. Lillywhite worked as an associate attorney for Allen, Shepherd, Lewis & Syra for five years before starting his own law firm. Now that he has returned to Allen, Shepherd, Lewis & Syra, he is Of Counsel and practices primarily in the areas of insurance coverage, insurance bad faith, civil defense and civil rights.

Mr. Lillywhite is admitted to practice in all New Mexico state courts and the United States District Court for the District of New Mexico. He is conversational in Spanish.
